Before you came to DJ Products, what did you do? 

I spent 7 years as a project manager for a structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabricator.  It provided a good background and insight to custom manufacturing processes.

What would you describe as your specialty/specialties and why?

I’d say I’m analytical, detail-oriented and try to look at problems from different angles/viewpoints to find a solution. 

What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at DJ Products?

Interacting with people, co-workers, customers and partners.  The upbeat pace and diversity of sales really makes the days go by fast!  One minute I’m helping a customer find a solution to push vehicles and the next minute helping a different customer move a 200,000 lbs+ railcar.  

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spend time with family, run, hunt, fish.

WasteCaddy Improves Operational Safety and Efficiency for Miami’s Porsche Design Tower

Over the last several years, DJ Products’ electric WasteCaddy Dumpster Mover has changed the way multifamily and commercial property employees safely relocate waste containers within their facilities. Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all accounting operational functions and employees, serve as human resources and benefits coordinator, complete internal audits and financial analysis and supervise the shipping and logistics dept.

Can you explain your role?

I manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll, as well as assist in all International wire transactions. I coordinate and prepare all financial reports and audits and oversee tax planning and compliance. I also work directly with the head of the shipping and logistics dept. and administer all employee benefits and work directly with insurance providers.  Additionally, I handle all Human Resource issues, including new hires and terminations. Plus, wearing many hats to assist in resolving issues at many levels.

Before you came to DJ Products, what did you do? 

I worked as an accountant for a telecommunications company for 5 years and directly with a CPA to learn all aspects of accounting.  My husband and I owned a manufacturing company for 10 years where I learned a lot about Human Resources and employees, in addition to company financial reporting and profitability.

What would you describe as your specialty/specialties and why?

I love working with spreadsheets and financial reports.  I enjoy the investigative part of balancing numbers and problem solving.

What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at DJ Products?

Working with the people at our offices.  There is always a good laugh to be shared!

What do you like to do in your free time?

Horseback riding and training, gun and bow hunting (pheasant, deer and duck), snowmobiling, ice fishing, motorcycle riding (passenger of course!), long walks, and road trips with my family.

Favorite T.V. shows: 

I really do not watch TV unless its Yellowstone.

How do you like your coffee?

Black.  Maple flavor is my favorite!
