Title:

Director of International Sales

How long have you worked at DJ Products?

Three years.

Responsibilities:

Manage all TrailerCaddy accounts as well as international inquiries and sales.

Can you explain your role?

It’s my job to help create the best possible buying experience for interested customers; both for our International markets and our TrailerCaddy division. I facilitate the sales process from beginning to end including product education and customer service & support.

Before you came to DJ Products, what did you do? 

Prior to working at DJ Products, I was the Assistant Regional Director of a Developmental Disabilities Services Organization. I knew people who worked at DJ Products who spoke glowingly of the company and culture and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

What would you describe as your specialty/specialties and why?

I enjoy providing an all-around positive experience for the customer. Meeting and connecting with our partners and customers all across the world with a need for our products is my favorite part of my job.

What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at DJ Products?

I love the team that I work with and I enjoy helping people find a solution to a problem they’re having.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spending time with my family and friends and being outdoors hiking, fishing and hunting and camping as often as I can.

Favorite T.V. shows: 

The Office, Game of Thrones, South Park, pretty much any live sports

How do you like your coffee?

Strong.

Title:

Custom Projects Engineer

How long have you worked at DJ Products?

A year and a half.

Can you explain your role?

I head up custom projects at DJ Products. A prospective customer will reach out to request a custom project/unit from sales. I’ll review it and come up with a conceptual design along with a quote for sales to send on to the customer. Once the order is placed, I’ll complete the final design and detailing working closely with production on building the unit to the required specifications. My job entails a lot of prototype testing and thinking outside of the box.

What would you describe as your specialty/specialties and why?

My whole career has been centered around custom equipment. Taking an idea and starting from a blank sheet of paper; a lot of ground up design. I think my strongest qualities are my mechanical design abilities. To take an idea, foresee how it will work, going through the whole production process. Understanding all of the components of creating something new.

What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at DJ Products?

Hunting, fishing, golfing, spending time with my family; my wife and two kiddos.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spending time with my family and friends and being outdoors hiking, fishing and hunting and camping as often as I can.

Favorite T.V. shows: 

Game of Thrones, Justified, Sci-Fi shows.

How do you like your coffee?

Black. I drink it all day and all night.

Title:

WasteCaddy Sales Manager

How long have you worked at DJ Products?

12 years.

Responsibilities:

Managing of the WasteCaddy sales team; ensuring all WasteCaddy clients are receiving the correct solution for their waste bin moving needs; setting and monitoring daily, weekly monthly sales targets and product advancement/ design

Can you explain your role?

I am the manager of the Waste division, and I have two exceptionally talented sales reps that make my day to day tasks as a manger very enjoyable. I oversee our daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals, while making sure we all on this team are providing our clients with over-the-top customer satisfaction from start to finish.

Before you came to DJ Products, what did you do? Any relevant industry experiences?

I originally came to DJ Products back when I was 15-years-old as a part time job in high school and worked here until I left for college.

I then moved to Myrtle Beach, SC where I attended the Golf Academy of America, where I became a teaching professional. After working for three years at a Country Club here in Central MN, I changed ventures and became a Personal Banker/Investor and continued that for two more years.

That is when I was asked to come back to DJ Products to start this WasteCaddy division that there was a growing need for. So, I have great deal of experience with working closely with people to solve problems and find solutions to those problems. Whether they be golf swing related, banking/investment, or now waste bin moving, I truly enjoy helping people find a solution to a problem they may be having.

What would you describe as your specialty/specialties and why?

I started as an assembler back when I was 15, so I have a great understanding of the machines’ make-up, which helps me relay info to my team about the units and build a better understanding for themselves. Knowing we are masters of our craft builds confidence in our whole team when it comes to helping each and every customer solve their waste moving needs.

What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at DJ Products?

I truly love the company and what it stands for. Helping people who are possibly being put in harm’s way. It really is rewarding knowing that we prevent injuries from happening to people just trying to do their jobs. I also love working with my team and am truly am grateful for the two reps in the WasteCaddy division. Knowing that they have the same core values of helping people and making sure that each customer is satisfied with their experience with DJ Products, is really rewarding.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I have two children, ages 4 and 7 so my time is spent doing all kinds of activities with them. We enjoy camping, going on the pontoon and fishing. I like to golf in my free-time and sneak away for a date weekend here and there with my wife when we can.

Favorite T.V. shows: 

Friends, Yellowstone, The Big Bang Theory, BBQ Pitmasters, and all sports.

How do you like your coffee?

Dark with a little French Vanilla creamer.

Accounts Receivable

How long have you worked at DJ Products?

13 years.

Can you explain your role?

I work on deposits, collections and invoicing from customers. I ensure that bank deposits are made and that we collect customer payment 30 days after an order is placed (or based on any specific terms dictated by the purchasing entity).

What would you describe as your specialty/specialties and why?

I think I’m good at working with other people – I’m really lucky because love the people I work with and I like to lighten the mood around here.

What’s your favorite thing about your job or working at DJ Products?

I enjoy the team here and I love being able to talk to different people all around the world.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love spending time with with my kids and fiance.

Favorite T.V. shows: 

Reality shows: Siesta Keys, Bachelor, Total Bellas.

How do you like your coffee?

Creamer with a dash of coffee.
